What does your laundry pile look like?

Your weekly reminder that no matter where you are in life you can go after you dreams.

If your laundry pile looks like mine... think 4 kids who constantly change clothes, many towels that soak up spills on the daily, two adults who work/workout in the heat ... you're in good company but if yours doesn't, WHAT'S YOUR SECRET??

It's true, though, my laundry pile keeps on keeping on but that doesn't cause me to me to give up. I don't stop washing, drying and folding just because I know it'll be there again tomorrow. It's a necessary chore to have clothes and towels on the daily.

And just like laundry is necessary, so is your daily work to get to where you want to be in life.

I want to encourage you today that just because you keep cleaning, or working out or teaching your children a subject over and over again doesn't mean you aren't getting anywhere.

Sure, somedays it feels like you are on the hamster wheel of life and you just go around and around, but stop for a minute and look at the progress you have made!

Here in Florida for our homeschooling we have to keep a yearly portfolio to show the progress our kids make from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. This portfolio is such a great example of how much our kids learn when we forget to look at the big picture and not just what has happened the last few weeks.

Maybe a portfolio is what you and I need to keep. A daily or weekly, maybe monthly, progress report to remind ourselves we are making the progress towards the end goal.

Whatever it is you are wanting or working towards stop and congratulate yourself for all the hard work and progress you have made. You are amazing and you deserve the recognization for all that work!

WHAT I'M ENJOYING:

-Book I'm Reading: Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing By Matthew Perry
So far it's really good and making me think a lot about life and how things/fame/money don't make us truly happy. Nothing matters apart from God and we need to always find our worth in HIM!

-My 40oz HydroFlask - I take it everywhere. Drinking 1 gal of water a day is no joke so keeping it with me, nice and cold, is definitely helpful in tackling this goal.

-Workouts by Nourish Move Love! These are still my favorite workout videos!! You can subscribe to her email list below or head to visit her on YouTube.
