To the Hurting Wife

Elia Suggs

To the hurting wife

To the wife who is hurting. To the one who knows there is hope to fix their marriage but can only see the long road ahead with barely any light at the end of the tunnel.

Please let me shine light into your hurting. It can get better! It can be a very long road, it can be painful and it will take stretching and growing, but with God all things are possible! I speak from experience when I say that it’s hard but worth it.

Please don’t suffer in silence. Seek guidance and support from someone you trust and if they have been where you are, even better!

Life is beautiful but when you are in the constant fight to fix and heal your marriage it makes it hard to see the beauty. Let’s heal that my friend. Let’s start seeing the world through eyes of joy, peace and positivity.

My prayer for the hurting wife:

Dear Lord,

You know what she’s going through. You are with her, holding her and helping her every step of the way and I thank you so much for that. I thank you and praise you for the peace and love you put upon her.

I ask that you give her the guidance to seek the right help. That you give her the peace to do the work it takes to heal herself and heal her marriage. I ask that you, Lord, work in her husband’s heart as well and give him the desire to work on himself and heal their marriage together.

Lord you are great and you are mighty! Help her to know you will be with her at every step. Keep her hope alive!

Please show her your forgiveness and mercy as she asks. Thank you for always loving her.

In your Holy and precious name I pray,

Amen
